To ensure the project met quality, safety, and cost expectations, AED partnered with their sister organization (ARTC) to recruit an experienced Construction Manager who understood the scope of work, permitting requirements, and client standards without requiring additional ramp-up time. Even with supply chain delays due to long lead equipment and permitting setbacks, the project was completed both on time and under budget.

The scope of work included the evaluation of two process buildings with various storage areas, laboratories, and office space. Hazard analysis modeling and a consequence criteria evaluation were used to provide a comprehensive technical report.

AED's adoption of cutting edge technologies and innovative techniques enabled the team to deliver a sucessful project without compromising quality. For this assignment, the use of high-resolution laser scanning technology minimized site visits, improved efficiency, and increased the accuracy of preliminary designs. Once Detailed Design began AED was able to seamlessly transistion into engineering execution without any additional ramp-up or lost time.
